Maditsi Mphela – Managing Director

Mr. Maditsi Mphela holds B .Proc. and LL.B degrees. After serving his articles with S.K.S Makhambeni Attorneys in Pretoria, he was admitted as an Attorney on 25th June 1985. Upon completion of his articles, he was immediately appointed Professional Assistant at the same firm and later moved D Z Tanzi in the same capacity. Mphela opened his own practice in 1986 at Groblersdal. Contact us and meet the team.

Tshepo Matlala – Director

Tshepo Matlala holds B.luris and LL.B degrees and an advanced Diploma in Labour Law. He has been practicing as attorney since 1998 and has been involved in various disciplinary procedures in both the public and private sectors.He is currently heading our Civil and General Litigation Division. His clients include Local and District Municipalities, individuals, and various other organizations.

Manisha Maganbhai-Mooloo – Head of Litigation

After graduating with her BA LLB degrees in 1994 and 1997 respectively and obtaining her Certificate in Advanced Labour Law in 1999, following her admission as an Attorney in 1999 Manisha Maganbhai-Mooloo practiced in various capacities since then.Her career commenced at Maserumule Incorporated attending to labour and employment related work, from both the employer and trade union perspectives.

Pule Kekana – Associate

Pule Lawrence Kekana obtained his LLB degree from University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2017 and went on to serve his articles at VZLR Inc. in Pretoria.He was admitted as a Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on the 28th March 2019. He worked at VZLR Inc. as a Professional Assistant from date of admission to October 2020.

Nereeze Collett – Associate

Nereeze is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Pretoria in 2013. She attended Law School through the University of South Africa from June 2013 until December 2013. She was admitted as an attorney on 8 September 2015 and obtained her Right of Appearance in the High Court of South Africa on 3 June 2016. She further proceeded to obtain a certificate in Corporate Law in 2014 through the University of South Africa and a certificate in Sectional Title Schemes Management in 2019 through the University of Cape Town.

Somahle Mhlanga - Associate

Somahle Mhlanga is an accomplished attorney at Mphela and Associates, where she brings a unique blend of medical and legal expertise to the firm. With a strong background in medical law and medical malpractice, she is well-versed in handling complex litigation cases in both the High Court and Magistrate Court.

Nimrod Maluleke – Legal Cost Consultant

Nimrod Maluleke graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Limpopo in 2008. Following his graduation, he started his career as a state legal advisor (intern) at the Office of the Premier Limpopo Provincial government. He later joined Maake Kganyago Attorneys as a candidate attorney, this is where he continued to hone his expertise as a legal practitioner. He joined Legal Aid South Africa in 2012 as a Candidate Attorney.

Ayanda Mpontshane – Associate

Mr Ayanda Madoda Mpontshane holds an LLB degree from University of Zululand (UZ) which he obtained in 2018. On 15 April 2019, he secured articles of clerkship at Phiri Incorporated Attorneys (Phiri Inc) until 14 April 2021. He was shortly retained as a Para-Legal.

Thendo Negota – Associate

Mr Thendo Emmanuel Negota is an Attorney who obtained his LLB degree from the University of Venda. He completed his articles of clerkship with Stabin Gross and Shull Attorneys and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in February 2017.

Nyeleti Khosa – Associate

Ms Nyeleti Vanesa Khosa is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa, obtained in 2017.

She completed her articles of clerkship at Tau Phalane Attorneys Inc and was admitted as an Attorney in December 2019. Following her admission, Ms Khosa served as a Professional Assistant at Mathipane Tsebane Attorneys from November 2019 to January 2022, where she gained valuable post admission experience.

Karabo Harry Matau – Associate

Mr Karabo Matau joined Mphela and Associates Attorneys on 13th November 2014 as a filing clerk and later promoted to Paralegal Assistant.He holds a National Diploma in Legal Assistance from Tshwane University of Technology and LLB degree from University of South Africa. He was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 10th June 2022.

Nokuzola Tshabalala – Associate

Ms Nokuzola Tshabalala, completed her BA Law at the North-West University (Vaal Campus – 2014) and her LLB at the University of Pretoria (2016) and gained her admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in February 2020. She commenced her legal career serving her articles at Godi & Zangwa Attorneys Inc in 2017 and continued as a Professional Assistant until 2024. Ms Tshabalala joined Mphela & Associates Attorneys (Pretoria Branch) in December 2024 as a Litigation Attorney.

Ms Tshabalala is a tenacious and results-driven attorney with five years of post-admission experience, and has built a reputation for excellence in South Africa’s legal landscape especially in the personal injury claims domain.

Nkateko Ndukula – Associate

Nkateko Ndukula is an experienced attorney specializing in personal injury claims, medical malpractice, family law, administration of deceased estates etc, known for delivering practical legal solutions tailored to clients’ individual needs. With over 2 years of experience practicing law, she has built a reputation for strategic thinking, strong advocacy, meticulous case preparation, and client focused service.

Prior to joining Mphela & Associates, she completed her LLB Degree with the University of South Africa and secured articles of clerkship in February 2021 with Mphela & Associates Attorneys for an uninterrupted period of two years. She was duly admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on the 25th of April 2023.

Mamauwane Hosea Nkoagatse – Paralegal

Mr Mamauwane Hosea Nkoagatse joined Mphela & Associates on the 10th April 2007 as a Paralegal Assistant. He holds a National Diploma in Legal Assistance, a Certificate in Legislative Drafting & Certificate in Criminal Justice from Tshwane University of Technology. He is responsible for Magistrate Court Litigation with special interest in RAF Claims, Claims against SAPS, and medical negligence cases. He is studying towards LLB degree at University of the North.

Lebogang Maduwane – Paralegal

Ms Prudence Lebogang Maduwane joined Mphela & Associates Attorneys Inc on the 10th October 2022 as a Paralegal.

Sifiso Vincent Makhoba – Paralegal

Mr Sifiso Vincent Makhoba joined Mphela & Associates on the 20th June 2016 as a Paralegal Assistant. He hold a National Diploma in Legal Assistance from Tshwane University of Technology.

Dudu Jele – Finance Manager

Dudu Jele holds a National Diploma in Financial Accounting from Durban University of Technology and a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from University of South Africa. Following her graduation, she started her career as a Trainee Accountant at Guarantee Trust Corporate Services.

Mqabuko Ndlovu – Office Manager, Pretoria

Mqabuko Ndlovu joined Mphela & Associates Attorneys Inc. on the 03^rdof September 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Management and has extensive experience in fleet, facilities, and human resource management.

Kutlwano Smith – Office Manager, Groblersdal & Polokwane

Ms Smith is a reliable, dedicated professional that joined Mphela and Associates Attorneys Inc as an Office Manager for Groblersdal Head Office and Polokwane branch on the 7^th of January 2025. She obtained both her Honours and Bachelor’s Degree in Public Management and Governance from the University of Johannesburg in 2017 and 2016 respectively.
