2024 Mandela Day Celebration at Bosele School for the Blind and Deaf

On Mandela Day, 18 July 2024, Mphela & Associates Attorneys had the privilege of celebrating with the students and staff at Bosele School for the Blind and Deaf in Monsterlus. The event was marked by joy and gratitude as we joined the school community to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

As part of our commitment to making a positive impact, we donated school shoes to the students. The donations were handed over to Mrs. Nkobo, the school’s social worker, and Mr. Tema, the principal. Both Mrs. Nkobo and Mr. Tema expressed their heartfelt appreciation for our contributions, emphasizing the importance of supporting students in need.

The day’s activities included a short program in the school hall, attended by all students and teachers. This program showcased the spirit of Mandela Day, focusing on community and upliftment.

Additionally, Mrs. Nkobo gave us a tour of the school, including the student hostels and the classrooms for the deaf and blind. It was a remarkable experience to witness the unique ways in which these students learn to type and read, highlighting their resilience and determination.

We are honoured to have been part of this special day and look forward to continuing our support for Bosele School and similar initiatives in the future.
