2022 Women's Day Celebration

At Mphela and Associates, we never miss an opportunity to celebrate Woman’s Day. This year we marked the day by treating the ladies to a weekend getaway. They took time out to have fun and relax at the Warmbaths Resort, in Bele Bela over the first weekend of August.

When they returned, they were full of stories, good jokes and sunny smiles. The ladies took some time off to relax and escape the daily grind. We know they had an unforgettable holiday experience and we are fortunate to have them as part of our team.

As we reflect on this year’s Women’s Day, it is important to note that women all over the world are still treated unfairly. They are victims of gender-based violence and they also face inequality in a male-dominated world where they struggle to get equal pay for equal work. The treatment of women shows how much work there is left to do in order for all genders to be treated equally. At Mphela and Associates Attorney’s we are committed to uplifting our female colleagues and make our workplace a safe and welcoming for woman in general. We are proud that sixty percent of our workforce is female.
